Ang Pulot-Gata sa Palawan

Honeymoon... Honeymoon... Honeymoon... Eto daw ang pinakahihintay ng bagong kasal right after the wedding... time to rest and time to baby dance... :)

For 5 days 4 nights stay with Tour Packages for two (Underground River, City Tour, and Honda Bay Island Hopping) and daily breakfast, we paid Php10,600 only. Ang room namin maganda, maayos ang airconditioning, with own cabinet at may daily room cleaning pa with change of bedding and towels (oh db???).

First resto stop namin ang "Badjao Seafront Restaurant." From the Pension, sumakay kami ng tricycle Php50 isang biyahe at mas okay kung magpapahintay ka sa driver kase bihira ang tricycle sa lugar na un, all you need to do is pay Php150 at hihintayin k n ng driver. The best and bagoong rice nila and adobong Kangkong. We also had Grilled Tanigue and sinigang na hipon. Expenses??? Php715.00 ... super sulit!!!!

We also tried Itoy's Coffee Haus, ang mga kakaibang pangalan at timpla ng kape. Ito ang kanilang local Starbucks... :)  Another must try in Palawan.

The best ang crispy pata nila parang crispy but something that melts in the mouth. We also had gising gising at ang famous na kanin ni 04. Sayang nga lang at wala silang tamilok that time which we planned to try.

Ang pinaka the best sa lahat... "Kalui Restaurant" .... Food??? they will get 10 from us! We ordered the set for the day for only Php395 good for two na yan. From appetizer to dessert...  I tried to check the restroom, sinulit ko ang pagpunta ko sa lugar na yun... my way to the washroom, nakita ko pa ang ibang part ng resto... super talaga ang paghanga ko, interior???? Big 11 out of 10... and the washroom??? Big 10 as well, malinis at mabango. A super must try place in Palawan.

Aside sa mga resto, marami din night life sa Palawan and you must try crocodile sisig, kakaiba pero masarap, a bit pricey like Php320 pero sulit naman... :) And ofcourse do not forget the street foods, marami din silang kakaibang mga pagkain at masarap. :)  This 5 days experience in Palawan is always be the best... and because this is the first 5 days of our marriage life. :)

Picture ... Picture ... (Ang Aming Wedding Photographer... Si Roger)

For our photos and video, my friend kumare Tere recommended her friend Roger. She said Roger is new in the business but has great outputs with reasonable price. She gave me Roger's number, I texted him and he gave me the details for their photo and video service. We opted to have the pre-nuptial pictorial because of the hectic schedule and that time, we needed to go to the province every week for the preparation, though I really love to do it. Roger is a shy type of person based on my first impression. He speaks so soft but he's very nice and approachable. We got the package for Php21,500. We had 3 photographers and three for video and all of them are nice and funny. I really had fun when we had our early morning photo-shoot during preparation. I know they were lack of sleep, a bit tired but still they managed to smile and did a good job. I enjoyed when we shot our video 'coz i felt like a celebrity posing for a magazine with several cameras capturing my every pose. Cameras are around me, and all I needed to do was face them with a smile every time they called my name. It was tiring but I really enjoyed it especially working with those professionals. They did a good job from the hotel, church, reception until the final pictorial. How I wished it wasn't raining, maybe we had so much shots in the resort. I won't forget this team. I even requested Roger to take care of my eyebags in the photos hehehe... I wasn't able to sleep for 2 days!!! After one month Roger, told us that the pictures, video, album and the portrait are ready so we met him at Market Market to claim the pictures. Tere was right, Roger's group gives nice outputs. I love the photos, I love the album and the portrait?? it wasn't what I expected. I thought it was the normal wedding picture after the ceremony in front of the altar, but I was wrong; Roger surprised us on the portrait picture. It's unique. That's all I can say. Great Job Roger and Team!!!

9. Typing of notice, registration on registry book (1 hour)
10. Posting (10 days)
11. Issuance of Marriage License (10 minutes)

Requirements:
1. Certified Copy of Birth /Baptismal Certificate. Bring original for authentication. (We requested this though NSO online. Papers were delivered after three days…. So convenient  :) )
2. Residence Certificates (We got this from our Barangay hall)
3. Parental Advice (21 yrs. – 25 yrs. old) – (My husband needed this since he’s just 25 when we got married… :) )
4. Pre-Marriage Counseling (from DSWD and MHD) – (We needed to attend a pre-marriage counseling together with several couples. A happily married couple for 50 yrs I guess conducted the seminar. They discussed common problems of husband and wife and how to handle every issue. I found this very helpful and interesting since they shared real life stories. The seminar started at 8AM until 11:30AM. We were too sleepy since we came from work that day, and we were thinking if we can still attend the family planning seminar since we would be hearing the same thing as discussed when we had our pre-Cana seminar. Well ofcourse we know it would be kinda different since pre-Cana seminar is more on natural family planning. What we did, we talked to the OIC of the seminar and asked what would be the best thing to do. We told her that we came from work and we already attended some family planning seminar. Our goal was to convince her that we no longer need the seminar. But ofcourse it’s part of the requirements for us to get our marriage license. Seminar will start at 1PM; before that we took our chance and went to the seminar area to talk to the OIC and luckily, she allowed us not to attend the seminar but what she did was she had a one on one seminar with us. It took us 20 minutes (which is better and favorable for us :) ) before she gave our clearance. Then finally, we brought our clearances and requirements to the third floor of city hall for the application of our license. After they checked our requirements, we filled out the form and they gave us the date of release then went home and rest… :)
5. Barangay Certificate (for Makati residents) – (We bought this from our barangay hall)
6. NSO Certificate of No Record of Marriage for both parties - (We requested this though NSO online together with our birth certificates)

Applying for our marriage license was not that easy since our work is at night and we needed to sacrifice our sleeping moment just to get the most important requirement for our wedding. Marriage license expires after 120 days so we needed to fix this three weeks before the wedding. This was the last requirement on our list. Weeks before we applied to our marriage license, I did some research on the requirements and where to go, because I made sure that it would be a one time big time application and the only time we will go back is on the release date. Exactly ten days after we applied, we got our marriage license and we needed to bring it to San Antonio, Quezon the next weekend.

***Requirements done, but still we had so much to do. 2 weeks left…

Pre-Cana Seminar

It's been a while since the last time I wrote on this blog. I never had time for real time updates, hehe. Anyway, our month of April was dedicated for our pre-Cana seminars. We needed to go to Quezon every weekend to attend mass and seminars. It was tiring but we had fun. The first time we met other couples included in the seminar, we noticed that we are the oldest couple. Most of them are on their early twenties and few couples are still nineteen. I couldn’t imagine how they decided to get married at an early age… Or I just decided late???? :D   In our pre-cana seminar, they discussed about marriage, how to keep your marriage, how to take care of each other, how ready you are to get married, couple’s responsibilities, parenthood, parent’s responsibilities to children, and as always… the natural family planning. You need to listen carefully so you can give answer to their on the spot questions… J  Our last day of seminar took us whole day, so we had our lunch there; “delicious ginataang isda with talong.” (Yummy) After hearing the final reminder from Father Arnel, we went back to Manila. Another achievement for our wedding preparation.:)

Ang Singsing

SA WAKAS!!! This is the 5th time na pumunta kami ng Ongpin to shop for our wedding ring. The last time we went there, nauwi lang sa foodtrip ang lahat. We planned to come back Monday, after lunch daw para sure na bukas na lahat. Affordable but the quality you can trust. No second thought we asked for our finger sizes and thank God kase meron available sa sizes namin. We tried to haggle at dahil super nice naman ang owner bukod sa pretty pa sya, she gave us 1,200 discount. Not bad for a pair of perfectly two-toned designed rings. At take note... Ito ang design na inimagine namin for our wedding rings... Meant to be... PERFECT!

Invitations & Souvenirs

First stall: wala kaming bet... Second Stall: may bet kami ni hubby, cute, simple and elegant kaso medyo mahal at minimum of 100 pieces dapat ang order mo... Sayang but we need to move on... 2nd set souvenirs and 216 hard plastic thank you tags. Nakamura kaya ako????? And finally tapos na usapan sa souvenirs, start na ng gawaan but we need to wait for a month bago namin makuha.
Hebreo 13:4-7

Very Nice diba??? Instead na mga kanta or mga sayings, mas maganda kung words of God.
